3D digital scans
Your The Mayhill Dental and Specialist Centre dentist can create a 3D image of your teeth in just minutes using our iTero or Trios scanners.
Say goodbye to messy impressions. With this digital scanning technology we capture precise 3D images of your teeth and gums, enabling accurate treatment planning, reducing the need for multiple visits and avoiding the discomfort that conventional scanning methods bring.
This state-of-the-art technology results in an extremely accurate 3D model of your teeth and gums which you will be able to see in your same appointment. At the end of your scan, your dentist will demonstrate a high resolution, interactive digital model of your mouth to discuss your best course of treatment.
Digital radiography
Exposes patients to 50-90% less radiation and produces high-quality images which can be viewed straight away on a computer for quicker diagnosis.
We can take 2D panoramic films and have access to 3D scans for use with complex cases.
CBCT scanner
We use our state-of-the-art CBCT scanner to produce precise, high resolution 3D images of a patient’s full mouth including the teeth, jaws, soft tissue and bones – all with high levels of detail.
We are currently one of the relatively few dental practices in Monmouth to have this state-of-the-art facility in house. Thanks to this pioneering technology our highly trained clinical team have transformed the way they treat patients, providing a more effective planning process for intricate or potentially complicated cases and allowing for highly accurate treatment simulations.

The Wand Pain-Free Dental Injections
The Wand provides a pain-free and less fearful option to the traditional syringe. The pain from injections often comes not from the injection itself, but the delivery of the anesthetic into your tissue. The Wand delivers a computer-regulated flow of anesthetic that is the right flow and temperature so that you barely feel a thing.
In fact, The Wand injection system uses a technique that numbs your tissue as you go, creating a pathway of anaesthetic with continuous pressure typically below most patients’ pain threshold. You may feel nothing but slight pressure as the anaesthetic enters the area.
